Accelerated Investigating Science

Today Accelerated Investigating Science went to Engadine Wetlands to determine the health of the water way using ecological testing. We were incredibly fortunate to be joined by water ecologist Nathan Varley from Sutherland Shire Council who shared his insights about the local environment. We performed a macroinvertebrate study and a range of physical tests to collect qualitative and quantitative data. Once we are back at school we will develop a testable question and combine our first hand data with some secondary sources to answer it. We had a fantastic time collecting data in the sunshine.
