Recently, Year 8 braved the elements and spent the day at Bonna Point in Kurnell. Students learnt about the interactions between biotic and abiotic factors that make up the mangrove and estuary ecosystems. We spent time examining adaptations of the grey mangrove and seagrass, as well as catching, identifying and releasing a wide range of animals that live in these habitats. Students and staff had a fabulous time and have come away with a new appreciation and understanding of the natural world.
