A small but strong student team from Caringbah High competed at the Sydney East Area swimming carnival at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (SOPAC) on Monday, 14 March. As usual the students represented themselves and the school with great pride and passion.
Caringbah High achieved many great results which attributed to the success of Port Hacking Zone placing first out of five the five zones and led to Caringbah being well represented moving into the State championships in week 10 of term 1.
Next stop on the swimming express is the Combined High School State Championships at SOPAC on Wednesday, 30 May to 1 April 2022. The squad that will be competing at the carnival is:
Xavier Y9 - 14 yrs 4 x 50m Freestyle relay, 14 yrs 100m Breastroke, 14 yrs 100m Freestyle, 14 yrs 50 Free, 14 yrs 100m Butterfly.
Max Y10 - 15 yrs 100m Free, 15 yrs 100m Fly.
Alexandra Y10 - 16 yrs 100m Breastroke.
Nicholas Y8 - 13 yrs 50m Freestyle.
Petra Y8 - 13 yrs 4 x 50m Freestyle relay.
Maddie Y7 - 13 yrs 4 x 50m Freestyle relay.
Kira Y8 - 13 yrs 4 x 50m Freestyle relay.
Natalie Y7 - 13 yrs 4 x 50m Freestyle relay.
Bo Y8 - 14 yrs 4 x 50m Freestyle relay.
Max Y8 - 14 yrs 4 x 50m Freestyle relay.
