Aurecon Bridge Building Competition

The following year 9 IT Engineering students, Kate, Jariya, Ava and Sammy participated in the Aurecon Bridge Building Competition on Tuesday, 17 September.

The annual competition was held at the NSW Art Gallery and attended by 58 other schools. Using materials supplied by Aurecon, students were tasked with constructing a balsa bridge to span 700mm, the bridge is then tested by Aurecon engineers to the point of failure.

Congratulations to the girls, who worked tirelessly on their design and successfully recorded the result of 29.8kgs!  Well done.
