Year 9 and 10 Engineering

Year 9 & 10 Engineering have been busy in the workshop. Students in design teams are producing designs for their balsa towers, scaled down prototypes of telecommunications towers. On completing the models, students test them with increasing loads until failure. The results are analysed and the tower designs are evaluated.
