2019 Zone Athletics Carnival Report

The Zone athletics carnival was held at Sylvania Athletics Track on 28 June, 2019.

Caringbah High sent a strong squad of athletes who competed in track events such as 100m, 200m, 400m and 1500m races.

Field events such as discus, shot put, javelin, high jump, long jump and triple jump.

As usual Caringbah High had many excellent performances on the day.

Caringbah High had an amazing three age champions from the day:

15 years: Jessica

15 years: Aiden

16 years: Emma

Our gold medallists and number of gold medals from the carnival were:-

Emma 7, Elena 1, Aiden 4, Annabelle 1, Tom 1, Lauren 1, Jemma 1, Keiley 1, Marjolaine 1, Adam 1, Bailey 2, Lachlan 1 and Tristan 1.

The next carnival for our athletes is the Sydney East Athletics carnival on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 August.
