Celebrating Audrey’s Achievement!

We are incredibly proud of our former student Audrey, whose Design and Technology Major Design Project has been selected for the prestigious SHAPE Exhibition.

Her project was chosen as one of only 56 projects exhibited from over 1,100 nominations across NSW. This is an exceptional achievement and a testament to Audrey’s creativity, dedication, and hard work.

SHAPE Exhibition Visit

Recently, Year 12 Design and Technology students visited the SHAPE Exhibition to gain inspiration as they begin their own Major Design Projects. The exhibition showcases top HSC projects from across NSW, giving students a clear understanding of the level of creativity and presentation expected.

Students explored a range of projects and gained valuable insight into different design ideas and approaches A highlight of the visit was seeing a project from our own school on display, which the students were really excited about.

Engineering in Action!

Stage 5 Industrial Technology Engineering minds at work!

Our Stage 5 students have been prototyping for their main project by investigating bridge structures using nothing but paper straws, hot glue and string!

Some of these designs held 320x their own weight, and some did not!

Year 11 Team Wins Premiers Debating Round

Congratulations to the Year 11 debating team who were victorious in Round 2 of the Premiers Debating Competition.

James, Hansika, Billy and Gemma, supported by Josh and Vedrana presented a cogent case that sports clubs should be owned by fans, defeating Cecil Hills High School on Tuesday March 31.
