Hands-On Engineering

Our Year 9 and 10 Engineering students have been investigating simple structures, forces, tension and compression using our new MOLA Structural Kits. The kits gave students a great opportunity to explore structural concepts in a hands-on way.

Thanks to our P&C for funding the kits and supporting practical learning experiences for our students.

Swimming Carnival

A great day at our Swimming Carnival! There was strong participation, and plenty of house spirit on display. Well done to all students who competed and thanks to the staff who helped make the day run smoothly.

Wetlands Field Trip

Recently, year 9 Accelerated Investigating Science students visited the Engadine Wetlands to collect data and make observations.

The weather was stunning and we all had a great time catching macroinvertebrates, taking water samples and making measurements galore with the help of Nathan from the Sutherland Shire Council and Dave from The Royal National Park EEC.

The data collected by students will be analysed back at school and added to our previous investigating science cohorts data to give us an understanding of the health of these waterways over the past 5 years.
