Hands-On Engineering
Our Year 9 and 10 Engineering students have been investigating simple structures, forces, tension and compression using our new MOLA Structural Kits. The kits gave students a great opportunity to explore structural concepts in a hands-on way.
Thanks to our P&C for funding the kits and supporting practical learning experiences for our students.
Outstanding Swimming Achievements!
Congratulations to our incredible swimmers who have progressed through to the NSW Combined High Schools Sports Association Swimming Championships after outstanding performances at Sydney East School Sport Association. Our 13 Boys 4x50m Relay and 14 Girls 4x50m Relay teams will proudly represent the region, and we are also celebrating fantastic individual achievements from:
Felix L, Jason V, Jasmine B, Carolyn Y and Hayley A
A special shoutout to Jasmine B and Jason V, who were crowned Sydney East Under 14 Girls and Boys Age Champions – an outstanding accomplishment!
We are incredibly proud of your dedication, talent and sportsmanship. Best of luck as you compete at NSWCHS
Stage 5 and 6 Visual Arts
Stage 5 and 6 Visual Arts students visited the Art Gallery of New South Wales to view three incredible exhibitions: ARTEXPRESS, Ron Mueck, and The Key is Under the Mat.
Students had an inspiring day exploring the exhibitions and engaging with a wide range of contemporary artworks. A special highlight was seeing the work of our very own star student from the Visual Arts Class of 2025, Joshua Ma, whose artwork is currently on display in ARTEXPRESS.
We are incredibly proud of Joshua and thrilled that our students could experience his achievement firsthand
Year 11 and 12 Legal Studies
Yr 11 and 12 Legal studies students attended a School Law Day Out excursion at the Downing Centre. We were fortunate to have former alumni Mark Speakman come to talk about the role of the Attorney General in upholding the rule of law and the importance of civic engagement in a democracy. A big thank you to the Rule of Law Team for providing such an engaging experience for our students.
