School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to read about school life and share in their child’s achievements.

First Nations Students Council

Date: Wednesday 16 September 2026

Time: 9.30am - 2.30pm

The First Nations Student Council (FNSC) is for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students in Years 4 - 11 from schools across the Port Hacking Network. FNSC is a culturally rich, immersive initiative designed by Jesse Lowe at Yindyamarra Walkabouts which aims to support students.

CHS Boys State Hockey Championship

Date: Wednesday 16 September 2026 7.00am -

Thursday 17 September 2026 3.00pm

The team will make their own way to and from Moorebank on Wednesday and Thursday to compete in the State Top 8 Tournament. Finishing and beginning times will depend on win/loses.

Accelerated Investigating Science Study Day

Date: Friday 18 September 2026

Time: 11.50 - 3.05pm

In preparation for their Preliminary HSC Investigating Science assessment task, Year 9 Accelerated Investigating Science students are allowed to leave school on Friday, 18 September at 11.50am. Following the Preliminary HSC Investigating Science assessment task (Monday, 21 September 9.00am - 11.05am) students are to return to class for the remainder of the day.
