Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to read about school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school events may include:

assessment weeks
school orientation days
sports carnivals
open day and school tours
Parent Teacher afternoons
Harmony Week and Book Week events
excursions and incursions
performances, concerts or school productions
fundraising, charity and community events
award assemblies
graduation and other celebrations.

Year 12 Winter Sleep Out

Date: Friday 21 August 6.00pm - Saturday 22 August 8.00am

During this time students will help pack care packages for the homeless after which they will have free time within the supervised areas of the school.

Students will either sleep on the basketball courts or inside the school hall depending on weather. Students are encouraged to eat dinner before their arrival. Food is not to be shared during the event.

Year 7 Mulga Incursion

Date: Tuesday 25 August 2026

Time: 8.50am - 3.05pm

Year 7 Visual Arts students have the opportunity to participate in a creative incursion workshop with Australian artist Mulga. During this workshop, students will learn about Mulga's artistic practice, including his creative process, use of colour, pattern, character design and distinctive visual style.

CLTA Year 9 Latin Reading Competition

Date: Monday 31 August 2026

Time: 5.00pm - 9.30pm

This lively evening sees students from participating schools compete in three sections: solo verse reading, solo prose reading and group recitation. The great works of Virgil and Cicero have never sounded better!
