ASX Schools Sharemarket game

Commerce students at Caringbah have been competing in the ASX Schools Sharemarket game over the past two months, competing with schools all around Australia to see who could make the most money on the Australian sharemarket. While it was difficult to do well this year given the volatility of the real life sharemarket, we still had 27% of our syndicates make a profit by the end of the game, which is an amazing result. Our ultimate winner within the school were Sean C, Harry C, Christopher D and Matthew G, who made a profit of $3,217.80. Congratulations to this group and hopefully we are able to beat this record when the game runs again next year.
