Student's Success

Chloe Y10 has been selected recently by Australian Ice Racing (AIR) to represent Australia for 2019 ISU World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships in Montreal (Canada), which will be held on 25 to 27 Jan 2019. ISU Junior World is an annual event where short track skaters’ ages from 14 to 19 years are eligible to compete.

Short track speed skating is a sport where Australian Skater Steven Bradbury won the 1st Gold Medal in the 1000m event at 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic known as the "Last man standing".

Chloe has been actively involved in this sport since 2011 and has come a long way reaching the world stage. This will be her first major event competing officially for Australia at world stage against the best of the best.

Her current achievements for this year are as follows:

2018 Endurance Plate (28 May) - Sub junior Division - 1st Place (Champion)

2018 Sprint Cup (17 Jun) - Senior Division - 1st Place (Champion)

2018 Duke Trophy (28 & 29 Jul) - Representing NSW State Team Senior Division - 1st Place (State Champion)

2018 NSW State Championships (02 Sep) - Junior Division - 1st Place

2018 Australia Open Short Track Speed Skating Championships (05 > 07 Oct) - Junior Division - 3rd Place

2018 Australia Open Short Track Speed Skating Championships - Junior Relay - 1st Place

2018 Australia Open Short Track Speed Skating Championships - Senior Relay - 2nd Place
